MINECRAFT- AFTER SCHOOL
Mondays | 5:30-6:30 pm
April 23 – May 21, 2018 | (5 Week Session)
COST: $100 for individual | $150 for sibling/friend pair
The start of another session brings brand new challenges & projects for new and old members!
Stop playing at home and start playing with friends! The Minecrafter’s Guild at Spectrum Therapy Center is a club focused around the popular videogame Minecraft. A typical session will include a daily challenge within the world of Minecraft. By using Minecraft: Pocket Edition (on the iPad) the club will tackle the challenge together and play within the same “world” (server). They will be need to brainstorm together, plan as a team, and complete individual work towards a group goal.
Previous Minecraft experience is not required! iPads will be supplied by Spectrum Therapy Center during the session, you only need to bring your imagination. Clubs provide opportunities for children to explore shared interests, make new friends, and practice social skills in the natural environment.
There is no specific age range for the sibling (or friend), however, partners must be motivated and able to independently contribute to the activity.
